much that Having spent more than five decades maintaining a variety of cars, motorcycles and boats, I've accumulated a small mountain of disappointing products. Brushes rank particularly high on my disappointment scale. I can't tell you how many times I've purchased a brush allegedly designed for a specific task only to wonder it the manufacturer actually used the product for it's intended purpose. That won't happen with this Bosun's Deck Brush Set. It's so well thought out, well designed and well constructed that you'll actually enjoy scrubbing your boat! First, the bristles are set in a 10 inch stock. I'm sorry but the 8 inch brushes sold at most boating stores are just too small. A 10 inch brush allows me to brush down the deck and/or hull in substantially less time. Next, look at the trim. This is the length of the bristles. The Deck Scrub Brush has a 3 inch trim and the Soft Wash Brush has a 2-1/2 inch trim. These brushes hold plenty of soapy water which means fewer trips back to the wash bucket. There won't be any bristles falling out either. The fill material is staple set in the block not just glued. A full perimeter bumper protects your boat against scuff marks and surface nicks.
