Gel Coat Labs One-step, Gel Coat Micro-polish & Sealant
Clean, level, protect and
shine gel coat surfaces in one step!
Product review by Terry Freiberg
If your boat is new, like new or freshly
polished, Gel Coat Labs One-step, Gel Coat Micro-polish & Sealant
is all you need to create a deep, rich shine and retard oxidation for at least
six months. This product performs every function necessary to keep your boat's
standard or painted gel coat healthy, vibrant and oxidation free. First, it uses refined oils and
special cleaning agents to remove micro-debris, marine scum and salt residues in
the gel coat's pores. Think of this as using a body scrub on your skin before
applying a sun tan lotion. Cleaning the pores in the gel coat greatly retards
internal gel oxidation and will add years to the life of the gel coat.
| Micro-fine polishing agents
then burnish the finish smooth as glass. These are not coarse abrasives. This
product is not designed to restore dull gel coats. This process of microscopically
leveling the gel coat reduces induced and parasitic drag which increases hull efficiency
and reduces fuel costs. Transitioning from stop to full throttle is faster and
fixed speed cruising is smoother and you'll consume less fuel. Most boaters can
feel the difference first time out.

Micro polishing also maximizes light
reflection (shine) by creating a more mirror-like finish. We routinely receive
comments like "awesome shine" and "I didn't know this level of
shine was achievable on gel coats". It's a shine that turns heads!
Lastly, modern polymers seal
the finish with an extremely tough, water and UV resistant barrier. This barrier
protects the gel coat against marine contamination, industrial fallout, salt
air, acid rain and UV induced slow fade. This protection will last up to 6 months
even in salt water (normal, non-racing boating).
Gel Coat Labs
One-step, Gel Coat Micro-polish & Sealant is the most advanced sealant
available for preserving and enhancing standard and painted gel coat finishes. It contains no butyl, oxalic acids or coarse abrasives. It does contain
nearly five times the "solids" or active ingredients of other
sealants.
One 16 oz. bottle
is more than enough to seal and shine a 28 ft. boat.
